Queens Legal Services
Since its inception in 1967, Queens Legal Services Corporation has been ensuring equal access to justice for the people of Queens by providing free counsel and legal advice to those who would otherwise be unable to afford adequate legal counsel. With a staff of approximately 26 attorneys, eleven non-attorney legal assistants, two social workers and a complement of support staff, Queens Legal Services Corporation provides free legal assistance, consistent with other governing regulations, in a variety of civil matters of greatest need to the low income residents of the borough.
