The Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn BID was signed into law by Mayor Michael Bloomberg in November 2004 and incorporated in March 2005. The BID encompasses those properties fronting Myrtle Avenue from Flatbush Avenue Extension to Classon Avenue, and provides supplementary sanitation, graffiti removal, and promotional services to the district.
