I am an expert at rating places such as INSPA World. I must say that this place is a very unique, relaxing, place to go to. What makes it unique is that its open all year around until midnight. The outside grounds and pools and waterpark are heated with 100s of massage jets the water is constantly flowing and is very clean. Ive gone when it was 20 degrees outside and it was wonderful being in these steaming giant hot tubs. There are private area to lose the crowd , and the water tempature is always done perfect. The clothes they give you to wear( which are refered as orange uniforms) by past critics are comfortable and in Korea are common place in all of the Spas. You also get a locker for your shoes, and another locker for your clothes, which is nice. Walking barefoot through out the place is common in korea also, it promotes cleanliness. The authentic food in the resturant overlooking the bay and the Whitstone Bridge is inexpensive ( $10 to $12 for a full course meal along with appetisers) also traditional in Korea. There are different special rooms to relax in, one even has recliners with your own TV and small table, many different types of massages to choose from are only some of the extra things that you can do. Over 20 Co-ed saunas are nice in order to be with your spouse or family. I saw alot of smiles, which tells the story of what people saw when they first entered the place. They even have ionized fresh air components all over the place. The rules are not reay stict if you understand what there for. I wish there were more of these places. Only the Koreans would know how to run it in reguards to cleanliness, comfort, hours of operation, ( in Korea many are open 24 hours). So, if you havent gone yet, you gotta try it. I give it 4 STARS.....

This is really a nice place and you will be suprised how much amenities you can get it for free beside the entrance fee of $30.00.

If you go to any luxury hotel SPA, there are rules as wells to keep the place in order and I didn't see any rules in this SPA that was out of line.

Some sauna rooms are for both of men and women and because of that I think it is a proper rule that everyone should wear the top.

This is really fine place and I hope that more people will take advantage of this great luxury experience.

I have gone twice to this place and I love it, I am not
concerned about Korean's speaking their own language
as most people in N.Y. speak their language or with an
accent. I understand that it is easier to speak with each
other in their own language then struggle to speak to
each other with another language. I have no problem
speaking to strangers and have never encountered
foreigners that were rude to me, more like they are
the ones intimated and are afraid to approach you.
I also have no problem with following rules, I do not
bring food with me. I eat before I go and have lunch
there. It can be expensive but I eat the Korean food
which I think is a reasonable price.
I find the pools invigorating and my daughter and her
little baby enjoy this place immensely. I think that for
$30.00 entrance fee to spend a whole day with a baby
is more or less a reasonable fee. Most of the guest are
Korean and when I speak with them are friendly. I also
think that uniforms are a good idea. You do not have
to bring anything with you except for a bathing suit.
Everything is provided for you, towels, toothbrushes,
soaps, shampoo , cream rinse blow driers and body and
facial cream. I look forward to going there. I tell every
one about how good you feel when you come home.
The best thing is that if you choose not to do any of the
treatments you still enjoy yourself and feel replenished.
If you choose to use their services, you can spend a
whole day there and at the end get a facial or massage
or any one of their services just before you are ready
    to come home.
I go during the week because I am a retired person, I
have never been there on a weekend, I imagine it could
get a bit crowded on the weekend, so I would advise that if you can, go during the week.

I think that you should experience it at least one time and come to your own conclusion.

I was actually beginning to like this place and find it a place of comfort and entertainment on weekends. I was about to overlook my first terrible experience with an unbelievably rude Korean girl with a big attitude up front at the reception desk. I figured, she's only taking money from customers - no wonder she's so miserable. "I'll just try to enjoy!" convincing myself to brush it off.

The other employees up at the front desk who are not Korean are actually the nicer ones. She's a real you know what, and I don't even have to describe what she looks like for you to tell which one she is. She's visibly rude and miserable. During our first visit, when we asked for a brochure of services, she rolled her eyes and slapped it in me and my friend's face. When she realized that my friend was not paying attention, she rudely tapped the edge of brochure about 8-10 times on the counter top trying to get my friend's attention. She could have easily just said, "Miss, here's your brochure." Or if she lacks to speak English like most of them there, she could have been more patient, get up out of her chair and handed it to her. I brushed it off, hoping for better mannered people inside.

Inside may be worse. It's funny because before I got inside, my friend had asked me what I thought about the place so far. I said I felt like I was in prison. Ironically, all the uniforms they make us wear is orange. We were really inmates to this place once we paid the $30+cost of food. There are so many rules and regulations that you're so worried about breaking them more so than "RELAXING - " you would think a spa would be!

Well, not knowing that one of the rules was not to bring your own drinks, I had brought my own Vitamin Water because their Green Tea drinks were nasty. They were not quenching after you sweat out all your liquid from the hot baths and hot sauna's. We went downstairs to our lockers to get our drinks. On the way to bringing them up to our friends, this very impolite lady by the name of JUNG MI CHUNG stopped us and scolded us in Korean for breaking this policy that we were innocently not aware of. We didn't think it was SUCH a big deal and told her we had bought it upstairs and walked away. 30 minutes later, she was looking for us and tracked us down upstairs, scolded us again very rudely, and snatched our drinks away from us and ran back into the locker room.

As a team manager, I think she could have handled this more professionally. If she had said at first, "M'aam, drinks are not allowed in this place. Could you please be so kind to put it back in your locker?" we would have done so.

I am forever boycotting this place! No one should waste their $30+cost of food to be verbally abused to.

The pace is gorgeous--have not seen anything like that before--beautiful design, awesome saunas and pools. But the staff is almost unberable--rude, speak korean to each other, too many rules--you must wear the ugly orange uniform even to the sauna, cannot take it off. You have to get naked in the women only section, there is no seclusion, the showers are not private at all. the place is crouded and not relaxing at all. the staff bothers you all the time with rules--put on your uniform, you are not allowed to do this/that.
Also, the slippers are not provided, you have to walk barefoot everywhere, which is not good hygene. the place is clean, but with so many people out there, you can catch fungus infection in no time.
For the russians it is really not fun--you cannot being your own birch branches, cannot drink alocohol, and, again, you have to wear the uniform in the sauna

The food was not good and exetremely overpriced--6-8 dollars for juice, 10 dollars for a subpar salad bar. You cannot bring outside food or drinks with you.
